When does the day "start" and "end"? The day starts at the time you drop your pet off, or at the time we pick it up, and ends at noon the following day. On the last day, if your pet is not picked up by noon a full days fee will be due. (TOP)

Can we cancel our reservation? We require at least two days notice for a cancellation. If we do not receive this notice, you are required to pay one days registration fee. Of course, if we're able to re-book your spot, you will then you will owe nothing. (TOP)

What if our pet becomes aggressive while staying at Lake Road Pet Boarding?
We do our best to care for your pet during its stay. However, we do reserve the right to obtain treatment from a licensed veterinarian in order to calm your pet should the need arise. The safety of your pet and that of the animal handlers is of the utmost importance. Should this become necessary, you will be responsible for any charges incurred. (TOP)

What if my pet should become ill?
Occasionally a pet may become ill or have a medical emergency while boarding. We will do everything possible to contact you should this happen; please leave a phone number where you or a family member may be reached. If we are unable to contact you, and the pet’s health is at risk, we will attempt to have your pet treated at your veterinarian if feasible. If in our opinion it is not feasible we will arrange treatment by our veterinarian, you will be responsible for any fees and charges resulting from this treatment. (TOP)

Can we tour your facility before we make our decision?
You bet! We would be happy to give you a tour prior to making a reservation for your pet! But, please call prior to coming over to ensure someone will be available to provide you with the tour. Naturally, we can not allow human guests unescorted access to our facility. (TOP)

Can someone else pick up our pet? We need to know if someone other than you will be picking up your pet, without notification, your pet will not be allowed to leave with anyone else. (TOP)

What are your operating hours? Normal operating hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 6pm. Saturdays and Sundays by prior arrangement only. (TOP)
